Mountain Climbing Trip

A few years ago, my husband and I talked about going on a mountain climbing trip with the whole family. We have thoughts of buying a few things needed for the planned mountain climbing trip as years passes by. We planned of buying a family tent, a few deuter backpacks and child carriers, camping cooking utensils and many others.

Unfortunately, what we have planned was not accomplished. Our family needs and demands increased as our family grows; somehow, buying some mountain climbing essentials not essential anymore.

Anyway, we still plan to have this trip someday, maybe not this year or the next few years but hopefully in the future!

Electronics – Electrical

My husband, who is a graduate of electronics and communications engineering and a board passer, is having a problem on which job category he needs to apply in Canada. There are many job offers being posted but none of them specifically said “electronics engineer” or “communications engineer.” Most of the listings are looking for home electrical technicians, electrical engineer and industrial electrical engineer. Though my husband has extensive knowledge on this matter, he is undecided on the matter whether to apply for it or not. He fears that his profile will get banned or blacklisted by employers for applying for the said job.

Anyway, I said to him, there is no harm in trying. Maybe the job offer site will give him a notice if he breaks a rule on their site, right?

Working Abroad

Most of my compatriots are taking healthcare related courses because of most of them are targeting to work abroad. Even our nurses here are applying to work outside the Philippines and some doctors that I know are studying nursing to work as nurses in the US and other countries.

Well, I couldn’t blame them. With the salary they are receiving here in our country, I know they wouldn’t think twice in accepting healthcare medical jobs in other countries were the pay is way much bigger compared here.

Anyway, as for me, healthcare is not my forte but my other sister is. She even wanted to become a nurse once upon a time. So, we are planning to have her go back to school and maybe after a few months or years, she will be working abroad too to earn more for the family.

Faster Service Wanted

I was chatting with an online friend earlier today and we have talked about so many things about life. She had also mentioned that life in other country is more difficult than here in the Philippines. But she quickly added that there are also a lot to be thankful being in the US. She said that there are things that can be done in a matter of minutes or days in the US as compared to months and years, respectively here in the country, and one of them is the auto insurance claim.

She told me that her car had an accident last week and that she was really worried that the car insurance claim process will take time and that she even thought of commuting for a while in going to her work, but to her surprise, the claim did not take that long. Hmmm…I just wished that services like that will be as fast and easy here in the Philippines.

Saving for a Sandal

Now, I only have one sandal that I wear when I go outside the house. So I am now planning to buy an alternate shoe so that my other sandal won’t wear out immediately. That is why lately I have been checking out online shops for a Privo sandal because my friend told me that it is very durable. Though the price is a little bit high compared to my usual preferences but she said I won’t regret it because it will last years.

Anyway, I have seen several designs that I want. So now, I am saving money for it.

Car Loan

My husband and I have been talking about buying our own car for the past years. The only thing that is holding us back is the security of tenure of his job. I am not saying that he will be terminated or not a regular employee but their company is still thinking if they are closing down. Their company is not getting any developments on their existing projects and they are losing profits.

If their company decides to stay and continue their project here, we might try and have a car loan since we couldn’t afford to buy it in cash and we might buy a Hyundai car since it is not that expensive compared to other brands and we have see a lot of shops here in our place selling Hyundai accessories and parts. So just in case we need to fix something, we will save up on expenses because we can buy the car’s need here in our city.

Anyway, if their company decides to close down, my husband and I have decided that he will choose to be reassigned to another place because they are asked to choose to be paid or reassigned. And once reassigned, maybe we can think again of having a car loan or not.

Separation Anxiety

Even though I am a stay at home mommy, I don’t get to be 24/7 with my children especially when they are in school. I couldn’t check out on them if they are doing fine or needs something. I couldn’t see if they are eating the right stuff or not. I couldn’t see if they are being bullied or they are misbehaving. And because of this, I feel uneasy that sometimes I wished I have super powered binoculars that when I use every time I wanted to check them out!

Well, I guess a mom will always be a mom, protective to her own brood or maybe I am the one who is having separation anxiety issues, not my children. LOL!

Ab Workout

If I look at myself in the mirror, well I cannot really say that I really ballooned. My arms and face are pretty much the same. It is really my midsection that has not reduced since I gave birth. That is why I still look like a few months pregnant. If ever, I need to burn some fats and also give my abdominals some exercise. I still think that the best ab workout is crunches and leg raises, but they say that crunches bring injury to the neck and do not really flatten the abs. So I dunno really. If I can remember, I would lie down and do some crunches. But I know that these are not enough. Maybe I just do it because I want to appease my conscience. Whatever. It is this bulge really that I want to get rid of.

Getting Rid of My Cellulite Problem

I have been trying several products that promised to offer me good results when it comes to my cellulite problem. Although it is not really a major concern for me since I am already a mother of three (3), I guess it is still very important for me to take good care of myself and my physical well being even if I am a stay at home mommy blogger.

Previous products that I have tried which offered a positive result did not turn out to be effective for me. Now, I found this new product, Lipovox, which seems to be effective and I’m once again willing to try it and see for myself if it will really work…

Just the other day I talked about wanting to use the best diet pills in the market, so a friend of mine told me why not use Lipofuze. She said it’s effective and safe. Of course, that is according to her since she has been a user of it for quite some time. We all know that what safe for others doesn’t mean it’s safe for us too. So caution should be taken. That is why I am planning to ask a doctor if Lipofuze is safe for me and if the she says yes. Well, I think I am going to try it immediately!
