As I said, credit cards can be a real ally or a foe. It really depends on how the owner uses it because it all boils down to self-control.
As for credit card users in the US, aside from the much needed self-control, they need to make sure that they don’t have a bad credit report rating because this can affect their finances hugely. It can affect their payment rates, mortgage loans, getting a job and even getting a postpaid mobile phone service! So, to monitor what is getting listed at their credit report, most of them avail credit report services. This can help them make sure that their credit report rating is up-to-date and clean as a new slate.
Anyway, I am hoping that we have this kind of services here too. This can also help people manage their finances and credit much better. But unfortunately, individual records are not yet organized into an accessible computer data. I think it will still take years until this would be available here.
