Key Man Insurance

I heard about a lot of insurance types. I used to try selling when I was younger. But now, I just heard about the term key man insurance. Have you heard about that? Well, if you haven’t, here is a definition I got from WholeSaleInsurance.com. It says that…

“Key man life insurance , also known as key employee or key person insurance, is a life insurance policy used to protect a business from the death of a key employee.”

So this means that this insurance is a special life insurance plan given to key personnel of a company or business. This will help also the company where the key personnel is working cope up with the loss of their key employee.

So what do you think about this? What are your ideas?

Electric Cigarette

Have you heard about electric cigarette? Or better yet have you seen one? Well, I haven’t seen one in person but I have heard about it. They say it is a healthy alternative to smoking real cigarettes. In the long run it can help you stop smoking too.

So, if the claims are true, I guess smokers should start using electric cigarettes to avoid cancer of the lungs before it’s too late. Don’t you think?

My Eyeglasses Story

When I was in my college years, particularly on my second year, I find myself to have headaches every now and then. I don’t know what was the reason but I was beginning to get irritated by it so I complained to my father. So he took me to an optometrist to have my eyes checked and indeed I was having eye problems that cause my headaches.

After awhile of being at the optometrist office, I went out wearing glasses. It was the first time that I felt I was nerd looking. The pair of eye glasses I had were not fashionable. I had to endure it for a 1 year!

I wouldn’t mine wearing if my dad have gotten me a fashionable ones like those from Zenni Optical. They have a wide array of fashionable eye glasses at cheap prices. The one dad got for me was nerd looking and was very expensive!

Anyway, after a year, I was glad I stopped wearing it. I really felt that it was one of my dreadful experience. But if I were to wear one now, I will go for fashionable prescription glasses. The ones being sold at Zenni Optical!

Healthy Bed Casings

I have three children and the two older ones are confirmed asthmatics. So to prevent them from having asthma attacks, we try our best to avoid them from being exposed to allergens that may trigger an attack. Many of these allergens are found in the house especially in beds. Dust mites, bed bugs and others are just to name a few.

So to prevent them from having an attack, we always change bed sheets every now and then. I know it is tiring but we have no choice. But if I do have money, I will buy a bed sheet that looks like an anti allergy mattress covers. They say it can prevent dust mites and bed bugs from getting to you thus preventing allergic reactions. They also call it healthy bed casings. It would be really nice to have few to cover the beds of my children!

Failed Financial Goals

I am very much disappointed with the first two months of this year 2010. Most of my financial goal was not achieved. I wanted to open a new savings account last January but was not able to do so. I wanted to reinstate my SSS account just to have some sort of life insurance but I was not able to visit their office. Why? Because I lacked the financial funding that I needed to open a new savings account and pay my outstanding balance with SSS.

Oh well, I hope I will be able to save for such financial funding so that I could continue with my financial goal for this year 2010! Wish me the best of luck!

My friend and I were chatting at Facebook about her recommended acne cleanser when she shared to me about a YouTube video of a local TV commercial out of the blue. Since she said I am going to laugh about it, I immediately clicked the link and saw this…

Lola Techie came to fame when her Bayan DSL commercial released to all local TV networks. Now, more commercials are being released by her for Bayan DSL including the video above.

Anyway, it did give me a laugh after seeing the video! Nice one Lola Techie!

Did you know that eating spicy foods, not drinking too much of water and not eating fiber rich foods can cause hemorrhoids? Well, as far as I know those are the common causes of hemorrhoids or “almuranas” in our language. They say spicy foods irritate the anus thus causing hemorrhoids. And if you don’t eat fiber rich foods, you don’t pass your bowel regularly thus causing hard stool that affects the anus which also causes hemorrhoids. That goes too if you don’t drink water sufficiently.

Anyway, hemorrhoids are not deadly. Treatment of hemorrhoids is available to anyone. So if you feel pain in your anus or having blood on your feces, make sure to consult your doctor immediately to get the right treatment! There is nothing to be ashamed off.

How to Improve Bowel Movement

Bowel movement is essential to a person’s health. It is recommended that you do it every day. As for me, I was not able to develop such hobby instead I do it almost once a week, waiting for the call of nature to set in. Since it is not healthy, I tried to find ways to improve my bowel movement.

So here are the tips my friends told me:
1. Eat fiber rich food.
2. Try taking a natural colon cleansing supplement to get rid of toxins.
3. Drink lots of water.
4. Position yourself in the bathroom daily to give your body a queue to start the movement.
5. See a doctor if it lasts more than two weeks already.

Scandalous Death

A few weeks ago, there was a local scandal that happened here in our place. A man and a woman were found dead inside their car that dived into the port waters. I said it was a “scandal” because the couples were not married and were found naked.

Anyway, speaking of such scandalous event, would the owner still get benefits from its car insurance? I never heard of such issues discussed in a car policy such as this. So it gives me a cat’s curiosity if such things happen.
