Ivory Tasks

Every time I pick a name, either it’s for my children or my blog, I always chose names because of their meaning. As for this blog, Ivory Tasks, it came from a long deliberation and thought.

Anyway, why Ivory Tasks? Well, the color ivory simply means quite, pleasant or understated elegance. In the Bible, ivory was always associated with beauty. We also know the elephant tusks which are known for beauty and worth is also called ivory. Then the word tasks which sounds like tusks, was chosen because of the many responsibilities and workloads that I have.

So, Ivory Tasks simply denotes beauty and grace amidst responsibilities or let’s just say, I am trying to keep my sanity intact amidst the demands of the roles I play.
