The apartment that we are renting right now is tiled, the living room floors, the bathroom and the kitchen dashboard. I really loved it because it is much easier to clean than having furnished or rough cement. But the problem with ordinary tiles is that they break if too much heat is applied which of course usually happens under our gas stove.
Anyway, I really just hope that our landlord will have the time to replace them with metal tiles. This way it will last longer because it can really withstand heat.
